Candy crush level 86 involves a pyramid of licorice covered jellies barricaded by caged candies. You need to clear all of the jelly.

No caged jellies

The caged candies do not cover any jelly. So while you need to unblock a few of the cages to start working on the jellies, you should not waste moves trying to unblock all candies. That said, it helps to clear as many cages as you can, so if you see an opportunity....take it.

From the top

Clearing the cages at the top of the pyramid works best. 

Combos

Use striped combos to take out as many jellies as possible in one move.

Licorice moves

Don't forget that you can swap licorice with regular candies. Forgetting this has cost me countless easy matches.
