Stripes and power combos

Don't waste your time on three candy matches. Look for vertical stripes and power combos. Wrapped candies alone are no good, unless you're lucky enough to get one at the bottom of the screen. Look to swap striped candies, or swap wrapped and striped candies.

Keep the chocolate in check

Understanding how the chocolate works is a big help. It only generates more chocolate when you don't destroy a chocolate on the previous move. Your battle with the chocolate will ebb and flow. If you plan ahead, you can battle back the chocolate by destroying its blocks on successive moves.
